Paris Fashion Week 2016: Stella McCartneyby Sonia Amoako Wednesday, March 16th, 2016 .
Stella McCartney’s Fall 2016 offering at Paris Fashion Week was easy, chic and wearable.
The collection consisted of gleaming copper shades, mesh inserts and puffer coats plus more. We love the versatility of the designs, as there are pieces you could easily take from day to night.
We had our eye on the metallic pleated skirts- tuck a crisp white shirt into it for a day out. The bleached denim reminded us of the 90′s, it’s still The very much on trend. The tie dye effect dress/jacket was given an edge with criss cross lace detailing. We would style this with a pair of casual white converses and a tan bag to wear over your shoulder.
The black chiffon dress with pleated detail and mesh inserts was one of the most sensual pieces on the runway. It resembles something you could wear to bed, but underwear as outwear is nothing new right?! The deep neckline and sheer material was a good match.
The collection gave pops of colour which was nice to see amongst the dark tones. The models frame was taken over by the scarlet red dress, the high neck and baggy look must of been comfortable to wear.
No doubt this is a strong collection for Stella, the designs are simple but with a twist.
