Golden Globe Awards 2016by Sonia Amoako Monday, January 11th, 2016 .
The biggest names in film and television were out in full force on Sunday for the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.
The annual event was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and we must say Hollywood’s finest were dressed to impress for the occasion.
Check out who wore what below:
Kate wore a glittering pink gown by Michael Kors with a cut out by her stomach.
Angela stood out in a jewel toned orange one shouldered gown. She accessorised with a gold clutch and statement ring, whist her shoulder length hair was styled in a middle parting.
Michael B. Jordan
The gorgeous Michael looked suave in a sharp black tux. What do you think ladies?
Kevin Hart and Eniko
The lovely couple complimented each other in their dark toned outfits. Eniko’s floor length gown hugged her perfectly, whilst she showed off some skin due to the plunge neckline. Kevin looked sharp in a dark grey blazer, white shirt and black trousers. Along with comfy slip on shoes. A couple that slays together, stays together!
Will and Jada Smith
Power couple Will and Jada looked sleek. Jada in an emerald green dress with split and Will in a tuexedo.
Katy looked sweet in pink, but showed off some skin due to the low sweetheart neckline. The Fireworks singer wore a half up, half down do and added a soft nude pink lip to match.
The Orange is the New Black actress added glitz to the red carpet in a black sparkly dress with shoulder pads. She added a simple touch with silver bracelet and wore her dark brown hair in loose waves.
Kate looked beautiful and elegant in her blue Ralph Lauren design. We like how her blonde locks were in a side bun, so the halterneck detail of the dress could be seen. It also featured a subtle split at the front.
Laverne stunned in a white dress with long train. Her dark purple lips added edge to the angelic outfit.
JLo wore a fitting yellow gown by Giambattista Valli with a thigh high split. She paired this will sparkly heels and jewllery, along with a matching box clutch. We love the dark red vampy lips with yellow here.
Taraji gave us a bit of Cookie with her fierce and confident poses on the red carpet. Her strapless Stella McCartney Couture dress featured a long train.
Jamie Foxx and Corinne
Jamie Foxx attended with his daughter Corinne, who had the honour of being this year’s Miss Golden Globe. The 20 year old joins a long line of famous offspring who have been given the task. Previous honorees include Bruce Willis’s daughter Rumer, Clint Eastwood’s daughter Francesca and Kevin Bacon’s daughter Susie
Zendaya turned heads in a red lace design by Marchesa. Her brunette locks were styled in simple loose waves tucked behind her ears, showing off her dangly earrings.
