Brides & Babies Presents 2016 Bridal Lookbook

by Sonia Amoako Sunday, January 10th, 2016

Brides and Babies are giving us class, style and elegance with their 2016 look book.

The dresses featured in the new collection are a lovely mix of  fishtail gowns, soft tulle and ruffles. The pieces include detailed embroidery which hug the models figure perfectly. We think the designs will definitely have brides feeling glamorous on their special day. The combination of traditional, classic and modern would allow the bride to give off the right vibe. All eyes will be on her right?!

Have a read on our take on three pieces from Brides & Babies:

We love them all but if we had to pick the two piece would be one. It’s not something you’d expect to see on the wedding day but looks great and is different. The model shows off some of her toned stomach, as the tulle skirt is a high waisted fit. The mesh flower detail on the sleeves of the top adds character. Braids as a wedding hairstyle never looked so good! Would you go for a similar hairstyle ladies?

Avoiding adding a veil or head piece to this bridal look works well we think, as the two piece itself is a statement, all eyes on that we say.

Fishtail styles are always going to pull you together and hug your figure perfectly. The scooped back detailing shows off a bit of skin, but is still elegant. We love the exposed tie up lace design at the back, along with the dramatic train. We’d go for a similar hairstyle to the bride with a swept back bun and would have a simple, light make up look.

And lastly, the bardot style dress. The model avoided wearing a necklace to keep the focus on the bare shoulders which works well. The cool 3D structured parts on the skirt adds edge, whereas the netted skirt brings back a traditional feel. Going for a head piece instead of a veil is a nice option (something different!)
