Ashley Graham Hits the runway at New York Fashion Week to Model Her Lingerie Collectionby Sonia Amoako Friday, September 16th, 2016 .
Ashley Graham strutted the runway on Wednesday for New York Fashion Week in support of her latest lingerie collection.
The 27 year old showcased her new line of sleek nightwear and underwear which is for Canadian retailer Addition Elle alongside other curvy ladies. Before gracing the catwalk, the beauty told the brand’s Facebook live host that fans could expect ‘sheer, creams, lace, bondage- we’ve got dog collars for the freaks at home’.
Ashley opened and closed the lingerie portion of the show. She was joined by plus size models Sabina Karlsson and Jordyn Woods. Each lady wore a touch of red eyeshadow to their lower lid, this gave a nice pop of colour. Their hair was also styled in tousled loose waves.
The show began with a chic ready to wear collection that included mesh bodysuits, simple skinny jeans and sequin party dresses. We loved the take on smart office wear, in the form of a black jumpsuit and crisp white shirt modelled by Jordyn. Other pieces also included autumn friendly jackets and blouses.
The lingerie show was the part of the show the crowd was waiting for, with Ashley walking out confidently in a black and cream push up bra and matching underwear, which was detailed with black embroidered flowers. A pair of simple black heeled sandals finished off the look.
Other models in the show sported one pieces, mesh designs and negligees. Flowing silky robes and fur accents were a nice accessory.
A model wore a dark blue plunge bra with mesh detailing, paired with matching underwear that featured a cut out. A robe hung down her arms as she fiercely walked down. We love the colour palettes of this collection as they compliment all skin tones. The different cuts and styles will definitely appeal to many women.
Ashley finished off the show by walking out in a sultry black satin and cream lace bodysuit that perfectly hugged her curves. It was only at last September’s event that she made her New York Fashion Week debut . The past year has definitely seen her go from strength to strength.
What do you think of her new collection?
